Rental Terms & Conditions
We request that you carefully read the following rental terms and conditions, which apply to all car rental vehicles.
Minimum Rental Period:
1 day
Driver’s Age:
All drivers should be between the ages of 21 and 75.
Driver’s License:
All drivers should hold a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years. An international driver’s license is required for all drivers who do not come from member states of the EU. International Driver’s Licenses are valid in over 150 countries and include information about the holder written in Latin characters, as well as a photo of the driver.
Fuel:
Glaros Rentals applies the Same level system. For extra fuel no refunds.
Key policy: Responsibility lies exclusively with the renter. In case of loss of the keys, the cost of replacing the keys is paid.
Traffic Fines: The responsibility rests with the driver of the vehicle who is obliged to payment of the fine within the time limits in the opposite case together with the rental contract as well as the details of the driver will be given to the competent authorities for the collection of the fine.
Payment Methods: The tenant can pay by cash, bank transfer deposit, credit card as well as with Revolut.
Taxes:
All car rental rates include 24% VAT.
Rentals Outside Symi :
renters are not permitted to take rented vehicles outside Symi island.
SECURITY OF ALPHA E-COMMERCE TRANSACTIONS: All payments made using a card are processed through it electronic payment platform "Alpha e-Commerce" of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption with 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). Encryption is a way of encoding information until it reach its intended recipient, who will be able to decode it with using the appropriate key.
All car rental prices include:
- Unlimited kilometers
- Delivery & receipt to/from the store as well as in various other points thereof
of an island donated by agreement. (Except for the Panormitis Monastery).
- Child seats (After consultation).
- Second driver in contract
- Helmets for each driver.

Insurances
1) Security to third parties
It is included in the rental price of the vehicle
What is covered?
Covers third parties in the event of death or bodily injury,
including passengers, when using our vehicle and
material damages to third parties up to the minimum amount provided under
of Greek legislation.
What is not covered?
-Theft or attempted theft of the vehicle.
-Theft of personal items from the vehicle
- Death or injury to the driver
- Damage to the rental vehicle
CDW INSURANCES
1. Release of Liability for Damages (C.D.W. - Gross) The renter is completely released from responsibility for any damage to the car as long as
accept the relevant terms of our contract, with his signature and pay:
• €5.00 per day for the Scooter categories
• 10.00 for ATV categories
• €10.00 per day for all categories of vehicles
Necessary condition, driving according to the Road Traffic Code.
The transport of the car to our workshop and the days it will be charged needed for its repair. DAMAGE to tires, wheels and damage to the interior and bottom of the car no covered by any insurance.
The Damage Waiver (CDW) is valid provided the hirer's name is listed on contract between GLAROS RENT A CAR" and the customer.
Regardless of whether the renter has confirm acceptance of the CDW, the renter is responsible for any mechanical damage or to replace damaged tires, wheels and undercarriage. if she
CDW is not accepted, the customer will be responsible for all damages to our company's vehicle.H The customer's participation (in the damage) depends on the type of vehicle he has rented.
